Dear Friends of The Elegant Setting,

I have exciting news to share. My husband and I welcomed our first daughter in February, Serena Mae Finkelstein! We are enjoying every minute with her and look forward to watching her grow in her first year.

Over the past 8 years The Elegant Setting has been open, I have prided myself and my staff on a high level of service and personally being in the shop as much as possible. Due to my new role as a mom and the demands of this new "job," I have decided to close the shop for the 2012 season.

Even though the store will be closed this season, we will definitely be back. I continue to have a passion for sourcing new products and ideas in the gift industry, and am still attending gift shows and exploring new ideas.

The former Elegant Setting space will sublet to another tenant for the 2012 season.
