Sales Tax
All orders shipped within New York State will be subject to a sales tax of 8.625%.

We gladly accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express.
Gift Wrapping
The Elegant Setting is happy to provide our signature gift-wrap for no additional cost. We are also happy to include a gift message with any order. We apologize that some items cannot be gift wrapped; please call for details.
Pricing
The price includes your selected item with personalization or monogramming and The Elegant Settings' signature gift-wrap if desired.
Charges & Processing
Your credit card will be charged as soon as you place your order on the checkout screen. When you receive your credit card statement it will be noted as "theelegantsetting.com."
Your order will be put into production within 24 hours of placing your order. Most items are in stock at The Elegant Setting and we expect to ship between 3 - 4 days of receipt of order.
Please allow 5 - 7 days for the ground shipping. If you need the items sooner please select an expedited shipping option.
Changes to an Order
If you need to change or cancel your order please call us directly at 1-888-277-8837 within 24 hours. After that time period we cannot guarantee that changes can be made. We will make every effort to accommodate your request.
Standard Shipping in Continental US
The Elegant Setting ships purchases within the continental United States through UPS and the U.S. Postal Service. Most shipments are sent via UPS, however we use USPS for shipments to all P.O. Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. territories.
Shipping charges will appear at check out and are calculated for shipping to a single address.
We offer a special flat rate for shipping all of our products. At the time of checkout you may choose from the following options:
$12.00 Ground (5-7 business days)
$40.00 Expedited Shipping (1-2 business days)
In the event your items are damaged during shipping, please contact the shipper immediately. You must keep all packing material until the issue is resolved.
Order Status
You will be notified by email once your order has shipped. You may login anytime to check the status of your order.
In-Store Pickup
Our in-store pickup service allows you to make a purchase on theelegantsetting.com and pick up the item at our Southampton store location. Upon checkout you may select the in-store pickup option free of charge. An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pick up. Please bring a photo ID with you, along with the credit card you used to purchase the item, for verification purposes.
Return Policy
Each monogrammed item has been made especially for you. We pay close attention to details and carefully check each item before shipping. Unfortunately these custom and personalized items are not returnable. We ask you to please double check all spelling and dates, text and initial placement before submitting your order. In the event that there is an error in personalizing your order we will replace the item in question immediately. Non-personalized items may be returned for a refund or merchandise exchange within 30 days of receipt of order.

Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Items must be returned in original packaging and in unused/unworn condition at your own expense. Your account will be credited upon receipt of merchandise return. Please include a copy of your receipt with your return and specify reason for return.
What happens if an item is backordered or out of stock?
In the rare event the product might be out of stock we will contact you by email and/or telephone to update you regarding the ship date.
What if I want The Elegant Setting to embroider one of my own items?
At this time we can only accommodate customers own merchandise in the shop. If you would like to personalize your own merchandise, please call our store at 1-888-277-8837 to set up an appointment with an embroidery specialist.
